Wie schon in „Sommer auf Edenbrooke“ hat Julianne Donaldson mit „Eine Liebe in Blackmoore“ vor allem eine moderne Protagonistin in historischem Gewand gezeichnet. Kate Worthington hat einen sehr entschiedenen Charakter – und will Kate genannt werden, nicht Kitty. Erst mal denke ich als Leserin „Gut, das ist ihr zu kindlich“ – doch im Laufe der Geschichte erfahre ich mehr darüber.
